Probably been answered somewhere but I couldn't find it.

Does running your CPU at a quite high temperature (50-55*C at load) have much effect on the lifespan? Effect being noticable, not something like it'll only last 9 years instead of 10! :eek:

My CPU is a 3700+ San Diego clocked at 2.75GHz for extra information.

Makes no difference how old your CPU is, it still has to work as hard.
