Hi,
Ive got my AA set to 6x in the CCC for my X1800XT. Ive also ticked the box to make this temporal AA -> thus giving 12x AA.
I have a TFT and keep vsync on giving 60fps constant.... Ive also read that temporal aa gets disabled at 60 and below. I also read about a reg key to lower the fps that it gets disabled at, but that key wasnt in the registry, so i assume it isnt used any more.
Is there a way to check if temporal aa is enabled during a game?
Thanks :)

ps. I used vsync to stop game tearing and also to keep a smooth game.... the card would otherwise product a range of 150+ down to 60fps other wise :)

From what i can remember, Temporal AA is good but only when the FPS are kept high, maybe it is now turned off if the frame rate drops, is it possible for you to connect your rig up to a 19" CRT so you can run it at other refresh rates and see if you notice any difference.

hmmm not really... on CRT in the house is a 21" upstairs and i dont fancy carrying that bad boy down/up two flights :P
I could try just turning off vsync and see how that goes? hmmm worth a shot i guess :}
