Temporary driving ban

My friends mum only has one leg and is still allowed to drive around

I also know one-legged people who drive....can't say as I know anyone who's covered to drive one day after having had their leg chopped off though! Aside from me, apparently. Maybe I should have had it lopped off, solve any future knee trouble....

Update:

Attempted to drive earlier. Not good for any kind of distance, so dumped the car back home and sloped off to the pub for several hours to drink some painkiller. Have to drive it on Monday to go get a new back box fitted (factory silencer is completely shot after six years) and try and find the source of what appears to be a leak of hydraulic fluid from somewhere in the front end (got to be clutch, brake or shock as far as I can tell) - will see how the knee does with a quick run out of the village and onto the A38.
