Just did mine @ 3.2GHz ... ambient at the intake is 23C. I hate that spread!!!

..... the CPU & TRUE are lapped .. this is under load -->

The closest I have ever had under load was 5C ... that was the best seating I ever managed

When I got it is was consistantly at 9C difference!

I have a 5c difference at load... just depends on the contact between the cores and the IHS, on my brothers Lapped Q6600 and TRUE his are flat across the board although he has a sucky Q6600 so I am not complaining

Mmm .. One would think that the temps diverge consistantly, maybe even in a linear fashion ... it is 6c at 3.2 and 7C at 3.8 ... and 8C at 4 ... there is a pattern as the heat gets turned up somewhat - but even at stock clocks the difference is still around 6c.
