What's everyone using for temperature monitoring in Vista? I know Coretemp can be made to work but is tiresome to do so. So I'm just looking for something that I can run without any hassle and give me accurate core temperatures.

No probs with CoreTemp in x64 Vista here.

There was a stage where it would go into an error loop, but that stopped a while ago for some reason.

So there's a new version out, I had 95 I think it was but it wouldn't display temps unless you booted in Admin mode.

I'll go and track it down.

With 0.95?

Tho I do have to say that I always boot x64 with driver signing disabled. Everest needs driver signing disabled in x64 too.

tried core temp and got a loop of some error
tired hmonitor didnt work
tired everest and it work
tried speed fan but no idea if it worked or not
tried asus prob and that wouldnt install

In vista x64 I use everest.

I installed rivatuner and when I first opened it there was an window that came up asking if i wanted to to stop windows checking driver signings, after I did this I havent had to worry about driver signings again :)

what does the T junction reading mean ? its saying 85C (CoreTemp)
It means when your cores hit that temperature, the CPU will throttle itself massively to reduce it's temps because for the chip, 85c = danger will robinson! :)
