Temps on Raid Drives

Hi guys, anyone know if there is a way to read the temps from a hard drive once they have been joined in a raid array ? two raptors in raid0 in my case. Thanks for the help.

Nope, Speedfan does not read Raid0 sets up I know that much.

I thought as much. Might have to use a temp probe or something similar. Pain though

Install the array mangment utility for your controller, it should give you temps and SMART status.

I know it wont work for me as Nvidia broke Smart Status on Vista Mobo drivers lol.

Hi abscence, I tried that but no joy. The management software just displays the smart status overview (okay, fault, etc) but no detailed breakdown. Im using an adaptec 12200SA.

I started a few threads on this very topic when I first RAID'ed hard drives. There's nothing free out there as far as I'm aware I googled and whatnot for hours
