It's accurate and very popular only mentioned as it does fans too then there's coretemp but that is only cpu temps most people use coretemp but hw monitor is good and accurate for fans and voltages temps etc
Both Core temp and real temp give me exactly the same temps and seem perfectly accurate. Guess it's personal preference. As long as the TJMax is set correctly all temp monitoring software should be fine.
