Tempted to get a 2nd 360... questions

I think the cheapest option would be to get the original Xbox - that was a fantastic media extender.

This.

Dont use a 360 as a media extender, its very fussy about what it plays and what it doesnt. I gave up on mine after it probably only played around 30% of my DivX/Xvid collection. PS3 is a lot better but still not perfect.

can you play all games on live just playing with a 64Mb memory card with your profile on it?

I used nothing but a 64Mb memory card for about 9 months and had no problems
i would suspect some newer games might want more space for saves though

cheers Yoko.

Does anyone know if you can be signed into your live account on 2 xboxs at the same time? Perhaps on different games?

Didn't someone say earlier that recovering your gamertag on one console will cause all other copies of your profile to become invalid upon sign in to live?

If that's the case then of course you can't sign in at two places at the same time :p

I use a memory card for my profile :)

This is irrelevant if you use a memory card though

For the price of the wireless adaptor alone you can pick up an xbox 1 and play all media files

why buy another 360 at 10x the cost? that has less compatibility

If you want a media pc get a ps3 surely- blu ray, has the wifi built in and you can run linux on it.

err no dont, get a laptop with DX10 card, and blu-ray drive as soon as prices tumble.

you can currently get a 17" dell with 2GB ram, and 256MB 8600GT for £440, a massive back catalogue of good games for £9.99

a PS3 as a media PC in comparison is a joke.
