Tempur Mattress Replacement

We've had out tempur original mattress now for coming up to 10 years and I think it's time to change it. It's been good for my back but it's also been very hot at times. We looked at the cloud tempur mattress in Bristol today and it's completely different from the one we currently have although I don't know if it will be too soft.

Hopefully mattress technology has moved on in the last 10 years so there might be something similar or better than a tempur (cheaper would be a bonus :) ). If anyone's got cloud tempur they can give me a review on or something similar it would be appreciated. We're looking at spending about 2k on the bed and mattress (I want an ottoman frame).
 
I would split the purchase and get a mattress from John Ryan. Awesome and worth every single penny.

Thanks, I'll have a look at their site. I'm looking at staying with a memory foam mattress and need to see what alternatives there are to Tempur. I'm not in a rush to buy so I can have a good look round before I commit.
 
I have a Tempur (non latex) topped 2000 spring mattress and its lovely cannot remember the brand will have a look at the label in the morning.

I bought a bed from John Ryan (Factory beds direct) and it is absolutely amazing.

Phoned them up to ask what springs are most suitable to our body weights and preferences, they advised us without being pushy. I ordered the mattress and came right when they said it would. The delivery guys were really glad to bring it up to our flat and took the packaging with them as well.

Really pleased with the quality and service!
 
If you want the memory foam type experience but with better temperature regulation then you want a Dunlopillo mattress.
