But it's a lot better to jump on the feminist bandwagon than correct a minor error. The first to get any 2 tennis golds was in 1896 and male so I'm not sure why the Williams sisters got brought up anyway.

It was also a little annoying when some of the track and field commentators were talking about the first british athletes potentially successfully defending their Gold medals in Rio and I was thinking Sir Steve Redgrave was as much an athlete as anyone running or whatever else.
