tents?

Several of the OcUKOMGWTFBBQ meet attendees got Milletts tents which were perfectly functional for the occasion. I've also been personally very impressed with Vango stuff, but I ended up sleeping on top of the sleeping bag rather than in it. I'll quite happily sleep with little/no covers on even in the middle of winter at home. :o

Millets stuff (Eurohike) is pretty good - certainly much better than the generic rubbish you get from Woolies and the like. They have a fairly good hydrostatic head rating and they're usually a doddle to erect. There are a couple of models that should be avoided (due to serious quality issues), although I don't know if they even make those anymore - it's been a while since I worked there :)

I got mine from Halfords...they do festival packs that include a tent, sleeping bags and ground rolls. I'll have to dig mine out but it seemed pretty decent when I was on the Isle of Wight.

I've not tried cold weather in it yet though.
