Evening all,

I'm not a huge Tequila drinker so i'm a bit at a loss here but can anyone recommend a decent bottle (budget £30/40-ish) of Tequila as a stocking filler?

Much appreciated for any help :)

Although I'm no help. I'd love to know what you find in the end. I know nothing about good tequila!

I'm a big fan of 1800 Tequila Silver, consistently ranked one of the best (in the sensible price range, tequila like whisky and cognac can fetch thousands per bottle), yet is often on sale for similar prices to the bottom shelf Jose Cuervero, plus the bottle is really cool.
I second that Don Julio is good but is always more expensive.

Another good one is Patron.

1800 Anejo would be my 1st choice on that price range.
If you like something different 1800 coconut is amazing.
also Don Julio and Patron are on you price range and are good ones.
I prefer Anejo tequilas (usually golden), but Reposado is nice as well.
