Hi guys!
Got a bit of a problem, I work for a firm that produces 3rd party software, and we have customers that use this software at various locations around the country.
There is one company in particular that seems to be having some sort of issue, they have 6 user licenses, and sometimes call and say there user license limit is reached (6 users active, wont allow anymore)
....But the customer tells me that there are only 2 people using the system. I then log into thier site via VPN and check the terminal services sometimes they have users logged in that still arent logged into the 3rd party software (session ended so to speak) but they still show in the terminal services.....
Sometimes they have a disconnected message, or sometimes they are active when they say they have logged off!
We have determined it is not our software but seems a networking issue? Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do to find out why they keep on:
*getting disconnected from the network....(which keeps the users session within our software, taking up 1 license)
*terminal services shows user active when they have logged out....
Any help will greatly be appreciated!
