Terminator 2 Remake [Rockstar Editor]

How this hasn't got more exposure is beyond me! It's one of the most faithful recreations of Terminator 2 using GTA V's RAGE engine.
Much of it is literally shot-for-shot, including the famous motorcycle chase scene!
Obviously some parts have been omitted due to limitations of the engine and lack of animations etc. Otherwise it's completely spot on!

Yeah it is brilliant. The chase scene in the canals is mindblowing, so accurate, so much work went into this.

Terminator 2 is still the best action film ever made.

Yeah, the lack of proper animations and assets let it down in places, but look at the various chase sequences! The tanker chase towards the end is surprisingly good!

It's an epic waste of time.

One or two scenes it might be "oh that's a neat thing to do", the entire movie... Just not sure why anyone would want to make that or watch it.

Horses for courses I guess.

I'd have showcased the best bits myself, but I suppose the skip button works also.

Watching the canal chase, I suddenly wondered why the T1000 wouldn't just dive straight out of the cab of the truck and stab John Connor when he is right behind him

then you wouldnt see the amazing chase and him morph back into the T1000 for the first time.

All the people in the mall are moonwalking too.
Its pretty good and must have took ages but the title was a little misleading its not the Full Film, whether they meant its a "full film".

What lets it down for me is when the truck jumps into the aquaduct and the front wheels dont get bent and buckled only for them to be miraculously okay in the next shot

I agree, T1 so much moodier! actually scary, T2, not so much. Aliens is my favourite film ever, nobody is yet to make something superior. Again, the enemies are actually scary, not like modern films

Yeh much preferred T1 over 2. Much more of a grittier film.

The first Terminator movie is the perfect combination of film noir and science fiction, which I love! It's much more violent also.

Originally I preferred T2 but T1 is much better, more violent and gritty.

Found the GTA/terminator video a bit meh tbh, some iconic scenes were nice i.e. the bike/truck scene.

I've never understood why no game developer has tried to make a FPS online game set in the terminator future, it would be epic fun imo.

I could envisage EA/Dice doing a reskin of Battlefront, haha!

On the subject, I have an original copy of Skynet on PC. Easily one of my favourite retro PC games!

They did, it was pretty cool. I think it was the online component of the T3 game.

Never played skynet on the PC, just saw some footage, looks epic

Oldest terminator game for me was on the gameboy:

Shame all the new ones on the consoles sucked badly, although I quite enjoyed the T3 redemption game....

Hopefully with T2 3D re-release upcoming and another terminator film, there will be some interest in making a "good" terminator game....
