The BluRay thread inspired me to watch this again the other night, and the two people I watched it with left me perplexed. After it had finished, I said the usual, 'Wow, I have watched it a hundred times and I still love it.' But when I said that it was easily one of, if not the best film ever made they started to laugh and said that I was talking nonsense. :p Everything about it just oozes awesomeness, and I can't think of one part where the film feels like it's dragging.

So I was wondering, what does OcUK think of Terminator 2?

Also, did anybody here go and see it at the cinema? If so, what did you think of the CGI as you were leaving and of Arnie being the good guy? Also, what did you think of the film then and now? I'm just curious. ;)

It may not the greatest but it is probably my favourite ever film in combination with Goodfellas, as the topic has me on edge which, combined with the quality of every other aspect of the movie, equals a winning solution. Love it.

It was also groundbreaking with its ahead-of-its-time special affects. It still looks good today.

Yup, one my favourite films ever, but then I love all the good 80s and 90s action films by arnie and sly, willis etc. (arnie and sly are like my role models :p)

Although certainly not the best film ever, the dark knight, shawshank redemption etc. are still the better films overall IMO.

The CGI is just amazing and personally IMO is still better than most of todays CGI films.

Although Terminator 1 is still the better film overall out of all 4 of them IMO.

One thing, which I didn't like too much though about this one was the way they made arnie seem too human, but then again it did fit into the film in some ways.

He played the part well as the good guy, the protector.

Although it's a shame in some ways that he never played a bad guy again since the first terminator film as he was perfect for it, just suited it so well.

Think I might watch T2 tonight again for probably the 200th time now :p, blu ray with 5.1

or (Flame Retardant Active) Blade Runner

Which version? The US theatrical cut, the international theatrical cut, the '92 directors cut or the '07 directors cut? And I think there were another couple of versions on top of those....

Its a good film but I like the first Terminator better. Even though it looks dated in a way that T2 probably never will be. After Terminator salvation I'm hoping they dont make any more. Didnt like that one at all

I actually loved terminator salvation, although I judged the film on its own not compared to the first 2.

For me the third one was just awful, I really did not like it at all, the only good thing was that arnie was in it :p and played the part well.

I have just excluded it from the series, so for me it's just T1 T2 and salvation :p

Exactly the same on all points, Salvation was never going to be like the previous films other than the same name and story. I've watched Salvation more times than I can count with both hands since it was released, if you take it for what it is its a great film

The soundtrack fills my very soul with dread when I hear it.

I cannot stand people pointing at me, not because it's rude, but incase they spike me through the eye.

A dog, as well as a lovable family member, is an incredibly useful addition to any household.

T3 was dishwater. Salvation was superb and recalled the dread of the original pair
