I was on wikipedia and I clicked the 'random article' button and came to this:

I never knew this even existed. Anyway, the point of this thread is because I was a little surprised at the shape of the controller.

Can anyone else see the resemblance?

The article also mentions that it was like a NES pirate system, but it look slike a mega drive, lol.

Surely something would have already happened? The playstation controller has had the same basic design for over 10 years now. Maybe all the people who originally designed the controller for that console are dead

Indeed, my guess is that picture is just an aftermarket controller based on the PS1 controller.
