Two ints and a Float are in a bar. They spot an attractive Double on her own.

The first int walks up to her. "Hey, baby", he says, "my VM or yours". She slaps him and he walks back dejected.

The second int walks over. "Hey, cute-stuff, can I cook your Beans for breakfast". After a
quick slapping, he too walks back.

The Float then ambles over casually: "Were those two primitive types bothering you?", he remarks.
"Yes. I'm so glad you're here", she says. "They just had no Class!"

:'(

The funny thing is the joke is actually wrong :p

Yes int is a primitive type. But in both Java and .NET it has a helper/wrapper class named Integer.

yes, but it was ints and not Integers in the bar, fool :p

they didn't wear their coats or something.

you could also say that floats and doubles are primitives, but in the joke they are Floats and Doubles...

just like it for what it is :p

As ever, it's the pedants that make these jokes funnier. (read: funny)

oh, and the two int's must like BBW's to find a Double attractive :o

Incorrect; in .NET at least, Int32 is a struct, not a class ;)

Also, double is also a primitive type, with no "class" :D

:o

Obvioulsy they were just looking to get their end away.. no need for a Classy bird to do that..

Ouch, you're pushing it with that one. Any more of these and I think my head might just pop.

But seriously, people shouldn't find this funny. In fact I object to this class of humour being in this forum. I think we should ban the next person to do so, no exceptions.

I suppose we could catch them, and then finally ban them.
Well, you can certainly try ;).

You need hitting for bumping this diabolical thread.
I'd be careful what you say. I'm like Muhammad Ali, me. I float like a butterfly, and string like a bee.
