This is so stupid you couldn't make it up:

The head of the Australian High Tech Crime Centre has claimed that terrorists are being trained in games such as World of Warcraft in an attempt to recreate simulated world environments.

Kevin Zuccato, speaking to an Australian Security Industry Association conference, also said that terrorists are going the games to learn weapons that are "identical to real-world armaments".

During his speech, Zuccato said that terrorists do not to travel to their target to carry out reconnaissance, but instead can do so using a virtual replica and rehearse an entire attack online.

"We need to start thinking about living, working and protecting two worlds and two realities," Zuccato said.

if they had said CS:S then I might maybe slightly belive them but if they truely belive they use WoW they need to take there head out of their bum

cant believe how much they have buffed the dps and stat values of weapons in the past year or so...
1 handers with 110dps......edit: 120dps

and a shield with 7k armor :eek:

Maybe they don't worry about exploding themselves up, they probably think they will just respawn to carry on the fight.
 
HAHAHA Next thing you know is that they'll be training in Eve Online preparing for terrorism in the 24th century with suicide spaceships :D
 
Surely it is more of a case of 'the man' being alarmed at the thought of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world being able to interact freely with little or no supervision. They will use terrorism as a perfect cover story to crowbar surveillance on to our beloved virtual worlds.

They will force us to be free.
