Terrorists training in World of Warcraft...

Someone needs to tell these guys that Sap, Cheap Shot and Kidney Shot don't work in real life. Then again they could go Paladin, who's ever killed paladin?

Isn't WoW kind of medieval in setting? Whereas Islam is..........................! :)

No, it's set in a fantasy land.

I can just imagine terrorists trying to kill people by kiting with frostbolts :/. I don't think I've ever seen a "realistic" weapon in WoW, it's point and click, and it takes a lot of hits with a gun or melee weapon to kill someone.

I'm just cruising through Thunder Bluff (Alt+Tab to the forums), there were some very dodgy people hanging about and I'm sure they weren't speaking the Queens english..

Surely it is more of a case of 'the man' being alarmed at the thought of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world being able to interact freely with little or no supervision. They will use terrorism as a perfect cover story to crowbar surveillance on to our beloved virtual worlds.

They will force us to be free.

I'm with him.

I think I bored one to death once! There was a perceptible resignation that eventually his mana pool would dry up :D

I doubt any terrorists actual;ly use it, but I can see why they would. emails, phone calls etc get monitored. However an online game you could quite freely talk about killing, bombings etc without being picked up.So although there of the mark on simulating. I can see why such an organisation would pick WOW to communicate on.

Sword of a thousand truths, is that actually in the game? I think i just saw it on south park :p

Not that I play WoW, but i believe (afaik) that after the south park episode they actually added it to the game.
