I said I didn't mind them, not that I would buy more, lol. I did also say I'd be keeping them for trading the car back in at the end of my ownership period (whether that's gonna be 2 years or 10 I haven't decided yet, I do REALLY like this car).

How badly affected is the realistic MPG in a 535D from the extra 50-odd BHP? I'd consider a 535D or a 335D as my next car for commuting!

My cost of motoring is horrific over the last 15 years, you could run a small island on it, or Liverpool....the city, not the team.

A couple mpg. I get around 40 in my 530d, and did get around 38 in my 335d. So not quite nothing, but worth the 50-odd BHP.

Having said that, my 335d was remapped the entire time, so was closer to 330 BHP, but doubt that made any significant difference to fuel economy.
