Looking for a bit of input on this one as I'm not sure what's up.
My wife was on an o2 £36/month iphone4 tariff which expired a couple of months ago. She likes the phone so I've cancelled the O2 contract and put her on a Tesco mobile £10 twelve month sim only deal that gets her 500mb data a month, same as she had on o2.
Her usage hasn't changed (on wifi in the house and normal facebook, texting usage elsewhere. She doesn't stream videos or anything too data hungry) but on both months she's hit her 500mb limit (and now going past it with 15 days left in this period).
Any ideas why this could be happening? Do O2 run a 'fair usage' policy where you might go to say 1Gb usage and not get charged if you're a pay monthly contract holder? I've looked on their website and it's not clear.
I need to know if there's something wrong so I can fix it, or if Tesco simply apply data limits more strictly, in which case I'll upgrade her to more data.
