Tesco mobile sim cards

Is anyone successfully using one of these in a router. I bought a 4Gb rocket pack and put it in my Archer MR200 and got no reception at all. However, when I put an old one (out of credit) in, I got three bars straight away. Tesco confirmed there was 4Gb on the new sim and just referred me to the Router's manufacturer.

Is the router unlocked to any network and does it have the correct APN?

Well done that man! It was the APN - different to the last Tesco payg I had in there. Much appreciated.
