Tescos pay-at-the-pump

Evening all.

Last night i dropped by a tescos garage to get some petrol, but only had cash on me, what do you need too buy petrol at the pump in tescos (it didnt accept cash.

Tesco water down their fuel anyway

one time they mixed the petrol/diesel and paid something like £1k to each customer for damages lol

needs to buy petrol at a pump HOWEVER it DOESNT accept cash... well **** me thats got me...

Was it not plastered with card symbols, with a prominent card slot and a display which read 'insert card to begin fuelling'?

I love pay at pump. Saves queuing! Only thing that annoys me is that occasionally they run out of receipt paper

In Italy some of the pay at pump systems accept Euro notes. Had me stumped for a while, but then I can't read Italian.

thats probbably true, we put tesco diesel in the corolla once, significant power loss, didnt pull away or anything - avoid!

I find the pay-at-pump system a little disconcerting. Not sure why.

The Shell garage nearby has it now too, but it's not working yet :rolleyes:

I'll be very keen to show my contacts @ Shell.
