In Italy some of the pay at pump systems accept Euro notes. Had me stumped for a while, but then I can't read Italian.

Me too, took me ages to work out.

Not a big fan of having to decide how much petrol you want before you start, especially when it's a hire care and you don't know how bit the tank is.

Luckily it was a Panda 1.3d which meant it's could do 15 gazillion miles on a thimbul of deisel.

We struggled frantically to fill a minibus with diesel, as we were running late for our flight home to Blighty. Luckily some Italians rocked up and showed us how it worked.

I bought some porn from the porn DVD vending machine at the Agip

Nope not just you, and I was also trying to do it in the middle of the day.

Fortunately there was an Italian guy who didn't speak English (and I don't speak Italian) who was happy to explain it to me by speaking really quickly and gesticulating wildly.

It only took me 20 minutes to fill up.

ah so you put your clubcard in first to get the points? my mom thought you had to pay at the kiosk to get the points. i'll have to tell her that for future reference.

Tesco's 99 is actually a better petrol than most - and their standard 95 is great stuff and nice n cheap :)

The card thingies are always disabled here so I have to go and see "watchoo talkin' about bruv" and "yeah innit is it" in the shop bit instead :(

Bah I wish everyone used this, far less customers to serve then. The amount of people that don't press the buttons for pay at kiosk or pump is unbelievable, then they start waving their arms across as if its our fault. It's so funny, I go out and say have they pressed the button and they say yes. Then I just go out put the nozzle back pick it up press the button and oh my god shock horror it works. Pay at pump instructions are on every pump, the amount of people that cannot read is incredible.

I never buy my petrol from there though always go to Shell. It's always the same price if not cheaper.

If you pay with a tesco creditcard then its just the one card needed for points and payment, to get a receipt is a bloody pain otherwise its a great idea but if they get all their money from shop sales I wonder why they do it
