Beta info:

Greetings Mutant League,

Well, we know you're all abuzz about the Beta! Just to keep you updated, we are currently in the process of uploading the Beta Build to www.gog.com.

After, GOG will generate codes for us to email out to the Beta Level Backers so they can download it from www.gog.com.

This whole process is new to us, so we don't know how long it will take - but we are very, very close to getting the Beta out to you good folks!

Thanks for your patience!

Also some more info incase you missed feb's update.

Looks good, based on reviews on GoG.

Question: which previous game should I get as the free bonus? Pandora?

WOW! I have not heard about this! I was a big fan of the originals and this looks great and if I had known I would have pledged! But I will certainly purchase. I think the Pandora Directive was my fav.

I loved these type of games hopefully we will see a Gabriel Knight revamp (Loved the Beast Within) or even a Ripper 2 (Hopefully no Walken :D)...

I do recall a game that was along the same lines of this pretty recently (Within 5 yrs) I recall a scene in a art gallery. I think you played a detective on the trail of a murderer... Anyone know? I think there was a 2nd game as well.

Ah man, RIPPER! Loved that game, almost purely for Christopher Walken's scenery chewing. Not to mention that opening sequence with "Don't Fear the Reaper" on the soundtrack.

Need to petition GOG to get that one on there.

Less than 2 hours to go. :)

Just got my steam key from BFG as a backer about 3:50pm which was cutting it close but i have it so im fine now. Shame i cant preload tho.

Anyone else backed this and lookin forward to playing it?

I never really got into adventure games like this when I was younger but the utter cheese of the dialogue does tempt me somewhat... :p

Played a bit so far its mint. Better than i expected for a small team and budget. Apparently theres about 28 hours of gameplay in this too. :)

great first impressions, plays exactly like the old tex games but with better gfx! and finally a real adventure game thats quite difficult and doesnt limit you to two screens at a time like a lot of recent stuff!

Only thing that's a bit annoying is the unnecessary leading from that smart alex thing even though i'm playing on gamer mode.

..bah im stuck.. cant figure out how to get past he security drone to get into that guys office! i've looked everywhere for a suitable object to destroy it or something and nothing! maybe i should have started on casual mode lol
