Test Drive 2 has been released & is available to download on steam

How exactly is a free trackmania game better than this? Limited to a small handful of servers.

I can actually load it up and play thats why? And the racing feels better.

Just because TDU2 cost money doesnt make it better than a free game. In fact, every free game I've ever played has worked better on release than this one has.

I was driving around in my better car (cant remember what its called, red one from the second hand shop that the off road training woman sends you to), and then went to the C4 higher tourney. I had to select my crappy starter car to compete, but fter leaving I now have it seleted as my main car :x

How do I change back to my better one?

I cant log in to figure it out, I'm not driving around in that crappy car.

Must save 85k and get the Lotus Evara asap. It doesnt have too high a max speed, and has superb acceleration and looks awesome, which means easier handling when driving around.

go back to your house/garage and get in the other car

Cool, I have to unplug my internet to play it offline now, so no alt tabbing to forums while playing :(

That lotus will be mine!

I think this game is turning into a perfect example of why pre ordering is a mugs game.

They've got your money before you even have the remotest idea whether the game is any good, it's no wonder they don't seem entirely bothered about actually having made it any good.

The sooner everyone stops throwing money at publishers for games that haven't even been reviewed yet, the sooner they'll have to start actually putting some effort back in to making games that will get a good response.

Actually people were warned about TDU2. A lot of beta testers, including me, posted our feelings after the end of the beta and I don't think I saw anything but negative comments. The word was out there, that this game is not finished and is indeed a very disappointing game in almost every way, but pretty much the only response to that was either "Well it doesn't cost much and I this is the game I want even if it has some slight issues" or "Well I liked TDU1 and there's no way they messed up the sequel." Or a combination of those.

Every official preview I read was very positive though. I've no idea what game they tested :)

I got the Lotus :D

But then I realized that Isotope Green isnt the same as lime green :(

I should have gotten racing green instead. This one is too yellow.

Also, I cant seem to be able to find my home on the map, but I swapped out my A7 car for this one which is A5.

Oops, now I need another A7 car for the A7 tourney, what a noob move that was lol!
