Isnt this kind of cheating the game?

From what ive heard you get $200,000 to start with, out of that money you have to rent a car to drive to the estate agents, to buy a house, then what you have left over you use to buy a car.

Then if you want a better car you have to race to earn the money to do so.

Buying the game with a pre-registered "performance" car would only make the game easier to win those early races.

Ive got a preorder from Gameplay, and if they jump on the bandwagon with the pre-codes I wont be using mine.

Oh very true. I will have my F1 sitting in the garage for when I have cars of similar performance.

I was also thinking (depending on how the game mechanics work) that my freebie car could be a 'pool car' for the OCUK clan if anyone needed it, seeing as it was free.

TSG has summed up exactly what I was thinking, I don't want a performance car from the start, how dull is that!

I'd rather drive around in something slower, every game has fast cars! Very few have slower ones.

Agreed. If I get the F1 I'll save it for a rainy day

The games going to be dull as ditchwater if every other car is an F1 or a Lambo. Trying to play the game properly is going to be pretty frustrating if you get your arse handed to you by every fool out there because their car is much faster.

Maybe it'll be class based like PGR? So a Maclaren F1 and a starter car are not going to be in the same class?

The first one is quite interesting. It mentions "Paint Shops the place to add custom motifs and designs." Perhaps a bit of personalisation then?

I don't know to be honest. I thought it was everyone on the road at once and you just offer people up for races? So if your stuck with a Daewoo Matiz and everyone else is in an F1 or a Lambo :eek:

Played on the demo last night, cant wait to play online with everybody, I wont be using my McLaren F1 all the time, just gonna drive around and show off to people

Cruising with the mclaren but not entering races with it.

I found out today the Island actually has a race track and its up near the airport oh and also the airport fully working and planes land and take off.

This guy is a magazine reviewer and asked him about what the race track has.
