Well from what people have said, the version that has been play-tested recently is a lot better than the original demo. The new demo in aug should be close to finished code and an indication of what the full game will be like. I can see Live being hammered on aug 1st. :)
 
I've just been watching Gone in 60 Seconds...and now have some serious cravings to play the game even more then before now :(
I can't wait to sit in a GT500 and do some racing.

oh, if there's room pick me aswell. I didn't know anything about this game till i was browsing through gametrailers and saw their preview, looks amazing.

Got another answer to another question today and Zico your question been answered on reviewer forum. :)

Q.How long to travel across longest stretch of the Island because there was early reports would take 1-2 hours to drive across real time obviously not going 200mph.

A.It can easily take over an hour to drive around the whole island on the coast roads, maybe that's what they meant. I've spent over four hours driving constantly and I don't think I hit the same road twice.

To drive every piece of road on the island, you got to be talking at least 16 hours straight :eek: :D

A:
Very. Especially as I only ever play the game in cockpit view, not from above. In third person mode the bikes are not too bad, a bit more tricky than GTA, but similar to MotoGP. In cockpit view it is hellishly difficult, but oh so rewarding when you weave in and out of traffic, and pulling wheelies – that's cool. You can also come to a complete stop balancing on the front wheel, which is also great.

Hmm, sounds like a lot of people are going to be coming off (or though I forgot to ask that, do you actually fall off or are you stuck on?).

I think I might get a bike first (or as soon as possible) although I prefer to drive from outside view/above so hopefully it's a little easier to see what your doing (or going to hit :D).
 
There'll be people flying off bikes left, right and center for the first few days :p It'll be hilarious to see as you scream past lol :D
