weird how you guys are having to torrent this file. i used internet explorer and was prompted to install the ign download manager. i got well over 600kb/s for the whole duration as a non-subscriber (using a free file planet account). it did take well over half an hour to start but it was worth the wait. once it started it only took 1.5 hours to download the whole 3.5gb. :D

The only reason i used the torrent was because i wanted to download before the open beta went OPEN (i.e. not just for fileplanet subscribers). Then i had it installed and ready to go as soon as i got my key :D

Pfft took me 8 hours 30 minutes. And I still have 2 hours 10 minutes remaining.
 
Been making some progress lately. Now own a Nismo 350Z, a TVR (Nieldo knows the name of it) and recently bought a beautiful ferrari f430 convertible :cool: Handling is flawless on it, but I need to buy so many cars, because I cannot resist! :(
 
I was thinking about a weismann but it looks to be another 30 mins drive to the dealership.

The classic muscle cars dealership might be good but they are out of stock, you can reserve one though. only 30k! And they have original shelby(s) you can test drive.


Ford GT is the best sounding car Ive tried so far. Think I'm going to get a chevy c6 thing with my 80k, cheap brute. I tried everything in the price range and only the weismann was preferable, more agile & responsive but slower and doesnt sound as good :cool:

Sure, just say the place :)

edit: and any type of car you fancy, last time there was a few people with slower cars then everyone else, would be nice to get similer cars.

Played an online game earlier, but I'm having trouble actually finding or being able to find online games. Can someone show me, the menu's are a little confusing!
 
well unless its one of the races, u just basicly drive around together. its one big server and everyone is connected so if you both go to the same place, you should be able to see each other.

Bit buggy though
