Still don't understand the online aspect of the game.

I searched the map for players, I can hop to where anybody is and add them to friends as I did with Twonkfish, even though he didn't appear to see me. but is this the only way to do it?

I saw Lasher-UK and MBK last night but they wer on roads that i hadn't been to and i couldn't see another way of adding them to friends?

Also, whenever I try an online race I get no matches and I do mean everytime. I want to get into the online bits of the game but they seem very well hidden?

online is very sporadic, treat as there are several hundred instances, each contains a cluster of 8 drivers, or, in the case of clubs, 16, these drivers can see and interact with each other, and sometimes, moving to a player on the map puts you in their instance aslong as that instance isnt full

open the map and make it so can see whole thing, now filter the challenged to online only, and you should see red blobs (circular fading outwrds) like hotspots... thats exactly what they are. Highlight.mouseover enarby orange dots and should see "races: 2" or something on them, click, join and youll get a race :)

I think they deffinately need to add a proper UI for the friends thing so you can just type in people's names to add them instead of trying to find them.

Also, I finally got the online racing working and it's like racing in a destruction derby. Every race I've had tonight, someone has rammed me off the track. :(

That's what I figured but there is never anyone there, maybe I'm just being unlucky and they have set off by the time I get there?

Can't see the appeal of this game, with a steering wheel it feels completely dis-jointed, the graphics are questionable, roads dissapear for a split second at times, and with 4x aa it runs real smooth, but then if you teleport to a challenge, the framerate chugs along?

Add to that these stupid 8 player instances, Garbage.
