Hi all,

not buying one before anyone says anything :p

Recently (over the past couple of weeks) I've had a real yearning to test drive one of these, and having some fun with one a week ago has got me almost gagging to, more specifically a DC2.

Basically what are the chances of a Honda dealer actually having one in?

And because you can't search for one on Honda's website, are their any specific dealers in the SE that should have one? Maybe a Jap import specialist or something?

I'd rather a dealer than some poor sod on PH as the dealer salesman and gets paid for it, so I'd rather not waste some innocent member of the publics time.

Thanks all :)
Jake

There is absolutely zero chance of a Honda dealer having a 9-15 year old car in stock. They just do not sell them.

Thought as much.

Chars!

No, you'll really not get them in a Honda dealer at all. Even specialists rarely have them in, most sales are private from my experience.

Pretty much what he said, although there wil be the very rare occasion that one comes in for p/x and they decided to not farm it off, or it's someone who works theres car.

Best bet will be find a local import place as they always seem to have them in.

Cheers Dale.

Gonna look around tonight then have a ring about, I'm free all tomorrow afternoon really :)

I test drove a milano red (quite rare for a jap import) DC2 at an import specialist not long ago, enjoyed it until the front splitter came loose and it started scraping along the ground

A import specialist would definitely be your best bet for getting a test drive, plenty around too.

 On a test drive the dealers insurance covers you.

Well when I test drove Scoobys a little while back they had no issues with me taking a WRX out but they said due to 'insurance reasons' I could not drive an STI...
