How many miles has the Leon done? Its usually 100k+ when they dont say in the description.

I was in a similar situation not long ago with the same budget, I'd looked at quite a few cars, including Ford Focus, VW Bora etc.

I ended up getting a 1.6 Y reg astra with 40k on the clock for £3.5k, and the insurance isn't *too* bad - I'm 20 with 3 years NCB and it was £730, compared to £650 for my 1.2 punto.

Might be worth considering as there is probabaly a fair few available local to you.
