Hi all

I have just taken delivery and am very pleased with the quality of this monitor.

To me images appear clean and sharp and I can't see any banding problems, proberly because I have rev A02.

Just to make sure can someone point me in the direction of an image(s) which would show up any banding problems.

Thanks for your help.

Very good online & downloadable versions of the monitor test, recently developed by the guys from flatpanelsdk. (highly recommended):

http://tft.vanity.dk

Features (quoted from the author):
- Homogenuity test to determine e.g. pixel faults and backlight bleeding
- Gradient test to determine e.g. banding
- Grey shades reproduction
- Simple trailing tests
- Moire patterns for 1:1 pixelmapping
- Input lag tests

You may also consider the following tests:

Monitor greyscale & gamma testing:
http://www.drycreekphoto.com/Learn/Calibration/monitor_gradient.htm

Monitor black point test:
http://www.drycreekphoto.com/Learn/Calibration/monitor_black.htm

They are very nice overall calibration/monitor tests and another bonus is that each of them is described very well (even for novice users).
