Because most of his advice was garbage (router responding to pings or ports that are closed but not "stealthed" doesn't make you insecure) aimed at getting you to buy his "security" products.

I'm not running a firewall, just a Cisco router with PAT (NAT with many inside addresses to a single outside). Not that these tests matter that much...

Coming up as all first 1056 ports as stealth. Except for the one port I have open, outside this range.

All attempts to get any information from your computer have FAILED. (This is very uncommon for a Windows networking-based PC.) Relative to vulnerabilities from Windows networking, this computer appears to be VERY SECURE since it is NOT exposing ANY of its internal NetBIOS networking protocol over the Internet.

Error: Access is Denied.

msxml3.dll error '800c0005'

The system cannot locate the resource specified.

/probe/hitme.asp, line 57

Same... I dunno if this means your firewall is secure or whether the site just breaks when it tries to run the test :S

Can't get this to work on vista 64 or xp pro.

getting the msxml3.dll

So is the site unreliable or does the error mean it was unable to run the file, thus meaning pc is secure?
