Testing a graphics card, which software?

My 1070 arrived from the MM today and I want to make sure it's in good working order and performing well. What software can I use for this? I was looking at Firestrike but it seems that it's not free anymore

Can anyone offer advice with temps? My 1070 is a KFA2 1070 with a blower cooler. Had overwatch on for a bit and card was reaching low 80's, is this normal for a 1070

I would say it's within normal ranges yes. Obviously factors like your case/cooling setup will play a role but my third party 1070 reaches around 70c in an excellently cooled case.

I need to figure out how to set a custom fan curve. I have MSI afterburner but it doesn't make much sense to me

Yeah it's been paid for for quite a while.

Just go in to a game and play? Leave on a scene that is 99% load. Not quite the same, but it's what counts.

Fan curve is pretty simple isn't it? Temp vs speed profile, you have to enable it with a button on the main screen. But set it in the menu behind. AFD at the mo so can't check.

Just Google superposition bench mark and download it, its free. Then just test what clocks you can push to without it crashing.
