Whats the best way to test it?

Had a pc sitting around for a while, was all working before I left it, connected it all up and turned it on and nothing...no post, no video, just powered on.

Did usual tests with ram slots, CMOS reset, removed graphics card and used onboard, and still nothing. Psu is fine aswell. Quadrupled checked every single connection.

How can I check if my mobo is actually knackered? Or if it's my cpu..

There are no beebs either.

Spec at the end will be:

amd athlon 64x2 dual core processor 4800+
4 gb ram
GA-MA78GM mobo
3850 512
OCZ psu

take everything out and try powering up just mobo, if it works it will then give you error beeps to say no cpu, if it doesnt its mobo dead, if it does itll be cpu, if youve narrowed it down this far already
though you can then try adding cpu and trying again, just mobo + cpu, should then get beeps for no ram if these are both ok

Will do tonight, have a spare Zalman one.

The current one is a relatively new OCZ so can't really see it being the PSU but worth a shot to rule it out.

Thanks btw.
