I have been testing my psu that appears to have died. I dusconnected the mobo and the graphics card but left the fans and HDDs plugged in. When I do the paperclip test, I fires up for a second then dies.
My query is this, as far as I can see, I have fully disconnected the mobo and card (main mobo connector, cpu plugs, both gfx power connectors) but when I do the test, a small led on the graphics card still lights up. Where on earth is it still getting a feed from? Its not stored power in the mobo as it does it every time and its been disconnected for several days. It's got me scratching my head.
