testing new build

Hi guys,
I'm just finishing off my first new build. When complete, what do you I need to do with it in terms of testing it and how long do I need to test it for for before using ?

Double check you have connected & installed everything and when you switch it on, hover over the power button on the PSU, just incase you need to switch it off for whatever reason.

Prime95 to test CPU stability.
Any number of GPU bench marks to test the GPU (3DMark11, MSI Kombustor etc)
CrystalDiskMark for HDD/SSD.
Hardware monitor to checks temps.

I have used hardware moniter before, but never prime 95. is it easy to use, is there are a tutorial?

Simply download it and run it with all the settings as they are, I think the option is Blended. You don't need to install it, it's just an exe which you can run.
