From a monthly camera magazine, they gave out small A5 Cardboard sheet with various shapes and symbols.

I just tested my 3 lens,

50mm F2.8 @ F5.6
18-55mm (350D Stock lens) @ F5.6
35-70mm F3.5-4.5mm @ F5.6

Lens1

Lens2

Lens3

Can you guess which one is which...?

As you can see, the difference is quite suitle. Though i'm not even sure i've done this test correctly.

EDIT: Can anyone see the images yet? :S
EDIT1: Links up now!

How did you set it up? Tripod and mirror lock up? Also, use ISO 100 just so the images don't have too much noise.

EDIT: I get a red X on no:3. :)

Yeah, set up on a tripod and rest the board on my keyboard. Whats the mirrow lock up?

It should be in the custom functions menu, it means when you press the shutter button the mirror locks up first and then when you press the shutter button again it starts the exposure. This stops the camera shaking slightly when the mirror flicks up giving you a cleaner image.

Also, use the timer function so when you're pressing the shutter button you don't move the camera.

Using mirror lock up and the timer function on a tripod will give you the sharpest image possible.

Are these crops from the centre of the image or the edge?

It's easy to see which is which as it says in the exif which you've provided.

I hope you are not expecting us to guess which is which, as I'll cheat and read the EXIF data you have included.

doh! beaten by upto 59 seconds...

What mag was this in, as I fancy a go at this myself....

Since i have a Canon, how do i do this mirror lock? Do i put it in manuel mode and move the f-stops to "Bulb" setting and then choose any shutter speed?
