Can someone have a quick look around my site?

Its an attempt at a classifieds site, the 'size' of the site itself needs to be fixed - I realise the blue background cuts out. But in terms of functionality what do you think? Also anyone got any ideas on how to improve the main banner - it looks awful I know!

If you get the time to have a look its much appreciated!

(I am a realtive noob at this sort of this, and its my first attempt at a site).

When you rollover the "Details" link, it gets smaller and moves the text around in IE7.

Does anyone have any clues as to how I can make the page a bit more scaleable? at the moment on a large screen it looks awful - ie floating there.

It's certainly missing a fairly important part of the functionality in my view. And that's filtering by tube station and/or tube line - unless you're only going for a loose association in "thetubist" and header design.

There are many classified sites about, and I think your draw needs to be in the name - being able to find places to rent near tube stations etc. It's often a big factor in deciding places to live in London - "I'm not so much bothered about how much it is, just as long as it's near the x line" is a common thing - and could make your site more unique.

What about those of us living in north, east, south or west London?! Do we not get filtering options - why only the in-between areas where nobody really lives

btw in ff when i change the category, it changes the sub category but as they change in length the tips to the right change position, which imo looks bad and confused me at first as i thought the text was changing but it wasn't it was just moving.
