Tethering iPhone?

Moved house so don't have net till 24th, how do I tether the iPhone to windows. Looked online but I don't see the tethering option under settings. On 3.1.3

It's at Settings > General > Network > Set Up Internet Tethering

Nothing there
enable 3g
data roaming
configure VPN
configure wifi

it's not something silly like only available over wifi and not USB?

No its available over USB or Bluetooth, are you sure your on 3.1.3?

Also its a paid service, which you have to sign up to.

Have you got any profiles installed? (Benm.at?)

Because if you do tethering disappears...

Also im assuming your O2, in which case you will need to buy the add on for tethering to work. £15 for 5gb or something IIRC.

How rubbish, yep on o2 but not on iPhone contract. But got the unlimited 3g add on.

Do you know of I can still buy the add on?

Yeah, you will need to buy the tethering separately and would more than likely need to be on an iPhone tariff.

Why dont you just get a cheap usb dongle with payg from Three?

Handy for future usage etc....probably a lot cheaper too.

I had the bolt on for about 3 months had it when I had my MacBook Air, wasn't all that good, a dedicated dongle would probably be more appropriate
