So I phoned customer services yesterday and they set text anytime up for me. They said in the next 24 hours the phone would lose signal, to leave it off for a while and switch it on. She said I should top up £10 and that I would get 300 free texts immediately, and a text would be sent to confirm this.
I'm now at the stage where the phone is back onto the O2 network. £10 topped up. However, I don't know whether I've now got the 300 texts. When I send a text it doesn't cost me anything, but I can't tell whether this is the O2 treat which I picked (25 free texts) or text anytime.
When I text 'balance' to 20202 I get no reply, and calling 4444 gives me no balances for text anytime, only the fact I have no boltons at present.
Does anyone know what I can do to check if text anytime is active, and to check my balance?
TIA, Jon
