I've just had one incorrect text back in 2000, nothing spectacular as the OP's though. It said something along the lines of "it was great seeing you. I'll meet you again tomorrow at Argos", at a time when I lived basically in the middle of nowhere and haven't been to an Argos for a while at that point. I just replied "I think you got the wrong number/person sorry" and never heard back.
