Anyone else noticed? i went on 4 regular servers just now and there were at least 3 in each one. And no, it wasn't just me sucking. i'm very aware of my skill level and it wasn't even due to me dying a lot. They were getting 10 - 15 kill streaks with baseball bats amidst huge amounts of chaos. Sure they died but nobody aims like that.

I've noticed it a lot too. Started off with the snipers, shame to know its spreading to other classes. And to think, less people complain about this than the medic unlock

*Awaits the "You must be crap" comments like I received when I said the same thing about CS:S!*

What you described wasn't hacking though, just someones experience with a new game that other people have been playing for over 4 years.

Still think you must be crap tbh:)

During the free weekend I ran into 3 or 4 hackers. It was incredibly obvious as they were running circles around the scouts... Absolutely insanely fast. Would be kind of funny if you ran into it once, but it was frequent enough to put another nail in the TF2 coffin for me.

Never seen any hackers on TF2 so far, and I consider myself to play pretty regularly.

I'd suggest settling down into a good community where everyone tends to know each other with active admins so you never experience it. I wouldn't trust a lot of the big public server providers to play on as first choice.

Quoted for the sheer truth.

It is funny when people complain about hackers. Go on rubbish servers, expect a rubbish game. Hardly rocket science?

not seen any invulnerability hacks, i'd say your team was pretty bad. seriously.

There's no such thing as invulnerability hacks, and also well done for reading the first post :)

The problem is not that they stay alive, because they dont. The problem is that they get 10 - 15 kill streaks within 5 seconds of the first kill.

Yeah tbh i dont know what i was expecting other than the usual elitist rubbish in the PC gaming section.

It's all my fault. i concede :P

There were some Ubercharge users about but I think they patched that out last time. Try to play on clan servers where there is usually an admin to kick/ban if things get out of hand.

Also some people are just good :p

Seems on so many forums now people are complaining about "elitism" as soon as anyone either disagrees with their opinion or tells them theyre bad/doing it wrong. The world isnt one big fluffy place and sometimes people might just get tired of whining.

Go Cry, Emo Kid!

And seriously, just because someone is good doesnt mean they are hacking. The Scout/Bat trick is actually very rewarding. Nobody seems to notice when they get smacked in the back of the head by a scout. Ive lost count the ammount of heavies ive beated down from full health with one!

Play on servers wit admins/community. hackers last about 2 rounds, or 2 second depending on the obviousness.

I've seen a epic decrease of hackers in Source lately, and i've been playing for around 2 years. I'd say since last.. October i've seen 1-2 hackers.

I play TF2 regularly and haven't noticed any hackers on the servers I play. There are some very very good players out there though - as rubbish as it is to lose to them, it improves ones skill in the long run.
