TF2 Console commands

Hi i'm trying to play tf2 on a wireless connection in my house, my ping is in around 90's on a good day. i lag lots though, i do see people with similar pings doing really well though and i know there are commands in the console such as cl_update rate etc... but i've never known what to type and which will help.. and people on games are just mean so dont help. people here are much nicer, so.. could anyone help me out so i can play!!

90 ping? Do you you know what servers you are playing on? Whether theyre in this country or not?



You can still play fine with a 90 ping as long as its stable. Wireless sucks for gaming though get a cable!

yeah its a shared house at uni. 90 is on a good day i join servers with pings under 100 but still lag. i've spoken to a friend who gets about 20 on the same ones. i've typed some commands.. seems less laggy but didn't really test properly. i'll just have to play when nobody else is using the internet..unles anyone knows some better commands!?
