TF2 rant

I dont think i could disagree more with the opening post, its a totally different game, sure the gametypes are similar but youd expect that considering its the sequal but ply style is soo different and clases are barely comparable. FF on the otherhand is a complete clone of TFC and tbh i prefer it.

Il be intrested to see what happens when TF2 has a decent clan scene but i fear there are gonna be 2 many lame exploits to make it enjoyable, i may be wrong and i hope i am. I think it will be more acceptable with fewer players.

TF2 has to be the prettiest game iv seen in a long while though really impressed with the package as a whole very professional look and feel.
 
It is quality :) 'tis the only game I have played on the PC for about 4 months. Spent about 50 hrs in it since beta release :o

Love this game, takes a while to load though :/

Also if your good at being a scout you can totally pwn, they need a bit of balancing
 
When the Orange box comes out in the shops on 19th October, will that be the full game then, or the beta too?
Is it worth the buy? I never played the original Team Fortress...

It'll be the full game. And yes, it's definitely worth the buy. It's just completely different to any other multiplayer FPS out there (and I am including FF in that).

I find the it has very much the same feel as TFC and plays in a similar manner (which of course it should do) but i agree that it has changed quite significantly... for the better.

- Better Balance
- No nade spam
- Requires team work far more than the original & encourages it by rewarding it... makes playing on pubs really good which is a big problem with a lot of other online games where it is often difficult to get a really good and tactical game on a public server.

Yeah thats what I have read. I havent played it myself yet so I cant really comment, but I heard strafe jumping and rocket jumps are gone? They noobified one of the best games ever made :(
