I've recently set up a TF2 server on one of my servers.. Now comes the task of adding admin mods etc.

What are the best ones for TF2? I used to use mani admin on CSS but reading on their main page it has some problems with TF2.

Any other decent ones to use?

I use the above for all 15 of my servers and they work fine. SourceBans acts as a central location for admins/bans which is excellent :)
 
Ta.. Those will do nicely! :)

Time to spend my day in work productively and get some mods working!

Edit: What does SourceMod do?

SourceMod is basically the same as Mani but has way more functionality. With Mani, you're restricted to the features he builds into it. With SM, people can write their own plugins and you can then use them on your server (and very easy to install, too).

Also, SourceBans is a plugin for SourceMod, so you can't run it without it :p
 
Ahh, I get you. Do I need Metamod with SourceMod then?

Sorry for all the questions, haven't set up a server for ages since my CSS one and back then mani admin was nice and simple..

Edit: Have had a look.. As far as I understand, I need Metamod for SourceMod to work, and SourceMod for SourceBans? :)

Yes :)

MetaMod: Source -> SourceMod -> SourceBans

For MetaMod: Source, make sure you're running the Orange Box version (v1.6.x).

Shouldn't be! Just make sure you grab the nix version of SourceMod and SourceBans should load fine :)
