When I load TF2 it says I'm not connected to Steam

Same, steams just getting slammed.
Just played a bit ROFL at the saws in the sawmill map. The saws are class 
, everyone runs into them at the end of the round . Already see bugs though like stickies staying floating in air when shot against the saws. The map is very pretty though, even has a waterfall 
. Quite big though and some people even got lost rofl.
Only did 1 quick round in nucleus but looked like an ok map, can't comment much it has some big shiny thing in the center and is a kind of ''arena'' map, with a low center and high sides. Good for sniping I suppose.
Double payload map is multi round, like goldrush, but I have my doubts if it'll work on large teams, the 2 cars run parallel to each other very closely. Only played 1 round before map changed so can't comment much either, except that you die VERY quickly when trying to push the cart due to the layout of the map.
Haven't seen hodoo yet.
That aside, it's spy and sniper fest as expected, 80% of the people play spy/sniper.
Steam servers are dieing too, can't even use my unlocks and steam friends disconnects every 2 mins.

Not sure about the double payload map, but then again its mainly spies and snipers
People have been randomly finding weapons too, apparently this is how to get the new items
There's also a bit of a bug where you see someone as a different class to what they are, but with the same weapon:

It'll be interesting to see how this new system works though. I suppose it's there to help newer players get all the items instead of having to work through over a hundred achievements to get them.

But I left a caveat of doubt!I want the hats too.
Yea, I suppose it does help new players and free weekend players. But I think the milestone system was perhaps more rewarding. I haven't had to farm too many achievos. I got all the Pyro unlocks without any farming at all.

Interesting, Pyros can now extinguish flames with the compression blast.
There are hats in the game Or at least the asset's are in the SDK for all the hats (one for each class) People on the steam forums have said they have seen a few people with them already so I'm guessing they are just really rare drops.
