I'm going to thailand again (for the second time this summer), last time I went it was just for a holiday with some mates. This time it will be for a trip with my girl friend and also a bit of business. I got some goodies when I was there last time then sold them on ebay and paid for most of my trip. Last time bacause of the amont I bought I just put them in my hand luggage. This time I will be buying more so will be wanting to post them back. just wondering if anyone has any experiance of this sort of thing? Also I have heard that the thai postal service is not to hot and things go missing a lot, how can I manimise this? Also on there site it says the cost (not that it makes much sence) but how longs it take?

I've posted back shirts and a couple of suits the last two years without any problems. In fact this year it only took 3 days to get back to England - quicker than Royal Mail I'd say.

Ok thanks. Did you insure them, what sort of delivery did you use, and what was the cost. Thanks.

Just went to the post office and asked to send it to the UK, so I assume no insurance, (I like to live dangerously). It was air mail and was pretty costly, (about £60 for 12kg).

Ok, thanks very much for that, and you say it only took a couple of days. Thats very good. I think I'm going to send my stuff in 10Kg lots to hedge my bets ect.... Where did you find a box to send the stuff in? Sorry for the random question.

If you use a courier, don't do that, it ends up costing you far more money.

They have them at the post office and will wrap it all up in parcel tape for you too.
