Well my XFX 7800 GTX went pop just before I went on hols 2 weeks ago. I sent in back to overclockers before I left fearing the worst after hearing some horror stories about XFX and warrenty claims. Came back at the weekend to find overclockers had shipped a nice new EVGA 8800 GTS as a repelacement. So I am more that impressed with there customer service.

7800GTX -> 8800GTS???

You lucky bas...

okay guys.. time to take your hacksaws to your old XFX cards!

Guess because it was a top range card when I got it as it was a 7800 GTX 512 XXX OC edition that cost over £500

If that's the case, and there is a step up program in place, well, you've been screwed lol?

Shouldn't you be getting some sort of 8800GTX overclocked oober goober?

Well considering the card was nearly 2 years old and the 8800 GTS is more powerful anyway I am not complainig Plus a GTX would not fit in my rig anyway

Nope. I don't think XFX would give EVGA cards as a step up.;) This was done purely from our side.

lol silly me, i was thinking the 7800GTX that anjs has was from EVGA :p

Anyway very good support from OCUK. ;)
